Scavenger Hunt Rules
Amazing Race style across the Riviera. Two teams of two, one moderator on the road, bragging rights for the rest of the trip.
The basics
- When: Sunday 5 July, 9:00 – 12:30 (3.5 hours)
- Where: Across the region — Menton, Nice, Monaco, Eze, anywhere reachable. Taxis, trains, walking — all fair game. Submission for points ends at 12:30.
- Submissions: All entries posted to the dedicated WhatsApp group. Lawrence moderates remotely and confirms or rejects each claim in real time.

Points & claims
- Each task carries a point value:

Easy → hard.
- First come, first served. Once a team posts a valid submission, that task is locked — the other team can't claim it.
- A submission = task number + photo/video in a single message. Anything ambiguous is rejected and the task stays open.
- Both teammates must appear in any "team does X" task. Solo finds (objects, signage, locations) just need the object in shot.
- Live photos only — no recycling old shots, no AI generation.
Disputes
- Tied timestamps → earliest WhatsApp seconds wins.
- Cheating (faked photos, missing teammate) = −50 points.
Winning
- Highest total at 12:30 takes it. Tie-breaker: most tasks completed.
- Both teams reconvene at the villa for lunch, recap of adventures, and the official kick-off at 2:30pm.
